SEASON II WEEK 4 THE BEST OF THE BEST

SEASON II WEEK 4 THE FINALE:  THE BEST OF THE BEST

After looking through all our photos of the past year we made some very difficult decisions and chose some photos to post for the finale.  So here are the photos chosen after much deliberation from our  photo albums during the past 12 months.  They are not necessarily our "best" but they are our favourites.

Dan in Vancouver, because he travels so much, really had a tough time choosing his photos.  He settled on one day, one place:  Cochin, India.  With the exception of his first photo all the rest were taken out of the moving window of a tuk-tuk.  Dan says he would have been a happy camper if the other 364 days of the year had been as productive photographically.  He also wonders why the dad in the last photo is wearing a helmet when his daughter is not.

Anne sent some of her favourites.  She loves the subject matter she says.

I really struggles to pick my favourites, not to mention remembering and then finding them!   The first three are from Venice from our cruise in the fall, the next four are from this winter in Arizona, including the descending raptor talons in Tucson and the final photo is of the new Port Mann Bridge in Vancouver.

Carol sent in some of her favourites from the year.

Richard sent in one picture he entitled "The Best", his Aunt Mary, his mom's youngest sister..a very hard but wonderful life.  Photo taken 6 October 2006.  Not quite from his album of the last year, but clearly a heart warming thought about someone important in Richard's life.

And Ruth sent in her favourite from the summer.

Gwen from Vancouver sent in some of her favourites from Hawaii and her cruise last summer.

And this is the last of Season II.  It has been a fun month.  I would like to thank everyone for taking the time to post their photos, to vote and to enjoy everyone's images.  I think for this collection of "The Best of the Best" we will just acknowledge we have a great collection of  favourites from the past year and enjoy them.  No voting,  just savour all the different subjects,  perspectives and colourful images.

Thanks for joining in.  Doreen
